“Modular” means that belts may have almost any chosen width above three links.
The belts are made of plastic injection moulded modules. Modular belt consists of intertwined parts connected with plastic pins which connect modules. Thanks to special methods of belt manufacturing – moving rows of modules “like bricks”, when the width of the belt is more than one module, the structure ensures an extraordinary side strength. Pins, instead of keeping the belt crosswise, act as axes of joints in set-offs.
Thanks to such design the belt shows high strength both crosswise and lengthwise.
